Headlight polishing kit

A set designed to restore the original appearance of very old and yellowed headlights. 3 simple steps: sand, polish, protect. Thanks to the use of this kit, it is not necessary to replace the headlights with new ones. Simple to use. The set does not include an electric polisher. Designed to restore two headlights.

Preparation

Clean the headlight with water. Cover the area around the headlight to avoid scratching nearby painted surfaces.

1. GRINDING: Moisten the grinding wheel and attach it to the carrier. Sand with three different grits to completely remove heavy yellowing, fogging and corrosion.
NOTE: Use grinding wheels: P800, P1200, P2000 in this order.

2. POLISHING: Attach a woolen polishing pad and apply polishing paste on it. Polish the headlight until it returns to its original shine.
NOTE: For best results, use an electric polisher. If polishing by hand, make at least 200 clockwise circular motions.

style="margin:0px;padding:0px;">3. PROTECTION: Clean the reflector glass and make sure it is dry before proceeding with this operation. Make sure the headlight is not exposed to sunlight (VERY IMPORTANT).
Using the white sponge included in the kit, evenly apply a layer of protective fluid to the surface of the headlight. Allow the protective liquid to dry for 15 minutes. Then let the liquid cure in direct sunlight for 1 to 2 hours.

4. AFTER STEP 3 keep the headlight in a dry place and do not expose it to moisture. Do not wash the car for 24 hours.
NOTE: Avoid direct sunlight (VERY IMPORTANT) when applying protective fluid to headlights.
